NONGKEYU exhibits at the 24th Guangdong Seed Expo

In early winter, Guangzhou’s Kemulang was full of produce and warmth. On 12 December, the highly anticipated 24th Guangdong Seed Expo opened. Hosted by the Guangdong Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs under the theme “Strengthen the Seed Base, Revitalize Agriculture with Science,” it brought together government officials, academicians, entrepreneurs and growers nationwide to chart seed revitalization and high-quality agricultural growth. As a leading fresh-corn company, NONGKEYU exhibited on a striking 54 m2 center-stage booth, showcasing its fresh-corn seed and processed-product portfolio and winning strong applause as a show highlight.

As China’s largest, most distinctive and most influential seed expo, it has long upheld “government hosts, enterprises join, science supports, farmers benefit,” showcasing over 130,000 new specialty crop varieties worldwide and drawing more than 1.3 million visits—a core platform for innovation display, tech exchange and market matching. This edition followed the national seed revitalization agenda and Guangdong’s “1310” plan, energizing the Hundred-Thousand-Ten-Thousand program and 15th Five-Year Plan agriculture layout, with featured zones for Guangdong’s potato value chain, modern farm equipment and AI + agriculture, building a full-chain system that integrates industry, academia and research with breeding–multiplication–extension.

NONGKEYU’s center-stage booth, carefully laid out with a rich product display, drew peers, buyers and growers from the moment doors opened. Crowds gathered for lively talks as staff explained variety strengths, planting tips and the quality and outlook of processed products. From disease-resistant, stable-yielding seed to sweet, nutritious processed goods, the full line won wide recognition for quality and craftsmanship; many visitors expressed cooperation intent on the spot—showing market trust in the NONGKEYU brand.

“Being able to win customers’ and consumers’ favour at such a high-level industry event makes us proud,” a NONGKEYU spokesperson said. The expo offered an excellent platform for display and exchange—valuable market feedback and insight into new trends.
